Stage 1 : Assess it’s condition
This morris minor 1000, 2 door arrived in a sorry
looking state.
When we fully assessed its' condition it was found to
be very good structurally.
It was decided to make it a convertible.
The vehicle was placed on our car roller, and the
inner and outer sills and half cross member ends
replaced.
With minimal repairs to arches.
We then wire brushed the complete underside and
spray sealed over our welded joints to protect them
before covering the underside and inside floor area
with under body sealant.
The roof was removed and strengthening replaced.
A replacement boot lid was offered up as the old one
was too far gone.
The vehicle was manually stripped of all paint,
repaired and filled as required.
